About Country Kitchens
Country Kitchens was founded in 1976 in rural Isle of Wight county, Virginia. Since then the county has grown and so has our business. When we began most kitchens consisted of a sink base and a couple of wall cabinets. We could put a job on a pickup truck and install in a couple of hours. Now most kitchens are more like furniture and consist of twenty or more cabinets including bookcases, entertainment centers, vanities and linen closets. Over the years we have built many kitchens and made many life long friends. Our cabinets are built to last a lifetime but we do have many repeat customers. People move, add on to their homes or build new ones. When they do, they remember the quality cabinets we built for them and call us again.
Jeff Hill
Jeff jokes he was building cabinets before he was born. He follows in his fathers footsteps building only the best in quality cabinets. He often tells customers "It is your kitchen but my cabinets forever." Like a fine piece of furniture our cabinets will last for decades.
Marilyn Hill
Marilyn began the business with her late husband Carl who prided himself on being"not the cheapest but the best". Marilyn does the paperwork and still helps her son Jeff in the shop. Her many years of experience has been passed along to the younger generation.
