In 2009, we began a whole house renovation to create our dream home, and we were referred to Country Kitchens to outfit our kitchen, four bathrooms, laundry room, and built-in bookcases, corner display cabinet and fireplace mantle for our family room. Our house has some different angles and nooks, and I had very particular ideas about the cabinet designs I wanted to work in these spaces. Jeff was wonderful to work with on the design – he knew where the fabrication challenges would be, made recommendations on how to improve the designs, and worked with me to achieve the look I wanted in each space. This included creating a customized wash finish for my kitchen cabinets, custom lighted display cabinets in our kitchen, and even some custom pullout drawers with high backs, which he suggested to keep pots and pans in their place. Their pricing was extremely competitive, especially considering the wonderful craftsmanship and customization, and what’s more – both Jeff and Marilyn were very professional to work with; they always returned phone calls promptly, there were no hidden costs, and they delivered when they said they would. It has been four years since we moved in, and all of the cabinets look and function as great today as they did when they were installed. Of all the sub-contractors we worked with on our renovation, Country Kitchens stands out as the only one that I would absolutely highly recommend without any reservations.
